Practice Policies
Our policies are designed to ensure the highest standard of consistent care.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly request 24-hour notice. Deposits are non-refundable for missed appointments (no-shows) or for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice. This policy helps us provide timely access to care for all patients.
How do I request medication refills?
Medication refills are managed during your scheduled appointments to ensure clinical safety and optimal dosage. If you require a refill between visits, please request it through your pharmacy at least 72 hours in advance. Please note that refill requests are only processed during business hours.
How do I communicate with the office?
For non-urgent matters, please send messages through the secure patient portal. Portal messages are reviewed and responded to within 48 business hours. Please note that the patient portal is not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
What is your controlled substance policy?
Controlled medications require careful and ongoing monitoring. A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is required before initiation. Patients are seen regularly for follow-up visits, typically every 1 to 3 months. Continual refills require routine attendance; early refills or replacement of lost medication are generally not provided.
